My professor an hour ago while explaining a class concept. There are two transgender students in the class. He got pretty flustered.

'think of it like gender, there's male or female, and they can't overlap or change'
*suddenly feels the stares of hatred from the transgender students*
'I mean...uh, you know, there's just so much gray area and uh... it was just a teaching tool and uh... ok onto the next topic'

*when I told my best friend my crush a day after I came out*
"Oh my goodness. Thank g-d. I thought you were going to say you liked me!"

What my step father used to say regularly:

"Weirdos all over the place...everyone in the entertainment industry (music, acting, other dramatic arts) is a bandit...there's paedos roaming the streets everywhere...and nonces kissing each other wherever you look"

Glad i never told him that I'm a part-time knob jockey!!!

No, I'm sure it wouldn't have...

SD: "queers this, queers that, blah blah blah".
Me: " you should be better towards the LGBT community.
SD: "don't tell me, you're a knob jockey too"
    Me: "actually, I am"
SD: "how do you know you are?"
Me: "because I've ridden a few winners in my time!...and my spare time involves me riding d*** like a bucking bronco"

That's how I imagine the conversation in my head going anyway...

Ugh that's the most middle-aged heterosexual mother thing I've read in a week.

I had a classmate who was informing me that Lady Gaga was trans because she has broad shoulders and that she "cut her dick off" and is "really a guy" and I'm just thinking... You don't even know you are talking to a transgender person right now.

um. How respectful a person is has nothing to do w/ their sexuality. as you might be aware. I've thought about that as well recently.

I asked a friend [and I use that term loosely here. that's how I refer to a lot of people I know] what his reaction would be if he found out I was a lesbian. [i'm not, and don't have a problem w/ that, or anyone of the LGBTQ community]. and he said it wouldn't effect him negatively. oh but somehow my apparent coming out to him as bi is his biggest problem. oh ok.

he didn't say anything when I came out to him. but he posted a video of two girls kissing like 'oh ok here. so you can become a lesbian'. yeah that tipped me off a bit. well. more then a bit actually. um. that's not how this works it's not an 'either or' kindof thing. anyway before I go on.
