And I'll be definitely getting a pair of these or similar sandals cause my old ones are worn out...

I hate that when you get something that "fits" but ends up being like a size too small despite its markings. Or something about your instep being too high.

They were too tight in two places. Mum said I was complaining too much because I'm used to wearing looser trainers and flip flops...

Thing is I can't afford to spend £170 on a pair of boots that don't fit right...if it was £20 fine, but for that kind of money I need to know I can wear them whenever I want without being crippled...

So, #2? Would they be OK with dress clothes you, do you think?

My brief experience with women's shoes has taught me this: as long as they do not cause blisters or severe pain, they're fine. They aren't there to be practical at all but are more like artworks on your feet. I'm not saying that's right, obviously it isn't, but shoes and bras are pretty much medieval torture devices so, you just go for the least torturous ones. :roflmao:

You might check Steve Madden as I recall having some very comfortable boots from them once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away...

But they do such great things for one's legs, butt and walk! I think maybe just a little medieval torture might be OK :icon_wink

Sorry, being a bad influence here :icon_redf

In all seriousness, they aren't particularly good for your feet, but I don't think it is a big deal if you don't wear them all the time. We'll just have to find you some sassy mid height heels to give you a break from the 6" ones

What were stiletto heels originally made for?

Seriously, my history book told me it was to denote social status. Now, it's just hot as fuck.

    Something the sage doesn't know?

    The sky must be falling...

Butchers used to wear them so they could move across the floors without getting caught up in gore and guts on the cutting floor.
