Shaved my legs for the first time : )

I wish I loved shaving as much as you all do! :lol:

I have sensitive skin and I can't use shaving cream, so I usually wind up shaving my legs with just the ravor and some water. I used to use coconut oil, but it's never around when I need it. IT HURTS... BAD...

Because of this, I only shave my legs when I NEED to. There are also instances where I realized I missed a spot after I'm done.

I don't want to be one of those lesbians with the extremely hairly legs!! :tears:
My hair is pretty thin, so people can't really tell unless they're right next to me, but STILL...

 

I don't think any of us ENJOY it...we just like the results...

I love, love, love having hairless legs (and body). I have had my pits laser'd not all the hair is gone but it is so light that i only have to shave it like once a week and when i do it is not ichy or prickly at all. Now i want to laser my whole body but the $$$'s aren't there for it yet.

And it seems like i might be on the outside with this but i like the act of shaving my legs in the shower. I find it relaxing, in the warm water taking the time to care for myself. Yes the first time was pure excitement but since then it is more of a calming thing, labor of love as they would say.

I can second that, conditioner works nicely...also stops the rash a bit!

 

I find shaving my legs and such, a very relaxing experience, nothing beats it more other than moisturizing my legs after shaving

 

Oh, I'll definitely get behind enjoying the moisturizing stage. Mmmmmmmmmm...

 

Get one of those pulley out things from Emjoi or Braun. They're like electric tweezers. Okay, some people say the hurt a bit (or a lot heheheh), but once you've used them for a few months the hair doesn't seem grow back.

More expensive than razors, but much cheaper than laser.

 

I'll give it a look, but getting the money for it will take forever!
Plus, I'm like Cousin It, from The Addams Family.

 

:3 Caramel or wax strips are what my friends use. But hairlessness is overrated so, don't worry about it.

 

Hairlessness is underrated in this case.
And I dread the full body shave I'm gonna have to do on Saturday! I'm gonna be in the shower for like 3 hours. XD

 

Something like a ProGlide Power might speed things up a bit. I use one for my face and get a very close shave with it. (*hug*)

 

Are those electric shavers actually any good.

I don't really see how they'd work tbh.
