One Million Moms condemns "Gay Oreos."

Solarcat, you're brilliant. I'm fairly sure my housemates think I've gone insane, because when I read this I couldn't stop laughing.
To be honest, this entire situation is pretty hilarious; I've never been to the US, but even I have heard about how popular oreos are over there. It's kinda fun to laugh at the fact that they've started a boycott which seems to have no chance at all of suceeding.

 

Stephen Colbert's thing about the oreos is just genius. "I need to know where all my food stands on every hot button issue!"

This is much ado about nothing. Oreo isn't joining the Radical Faeries or singlehandedly ending homophobia/transphobia and giving us equal rights, they just made an ad targeting our community. One Million Moms is a joke.

 

Although it's a market ploy and trying to gain on the glbt market, i find that oreo kinda cute.

If they want to stop using everything thats "Gay" then they would give up a shitload, most notably their computers, yes a gay designed what became the basis of computing. so I say lets support them by taking away all the gay influence from their lives, their computers, phones, and most likely clothes ^^

I wonder if all of those food dyes exist. If you run a GSA, make and sell your own gay oreos on this wave of publicity and donate the money to a gay charity. That would really be a kick to the crotch of all these evangelicals.

And once again, One Million Moms set the bar for stupidity, therefore making it easier to judge who the intelligent people are.

As a side note if they made that cookie an actual product I'd be concerned all that sugar from even one would give me diabetes. XD

 

You don't get diabetes from eating a lot of sugar, but you may get overweight, and that's essentially just as bad.

 

I wish people would stop giving these women attention it just drives them to keep doing what they are doing. Ignore them and dont post about anything they say dont give them any attention and they would simply fizzle out and go away
