Habs-Bruins again. Montreal better win or my life will be pretty miserable around here for awhile. Greatest rivalry in sports.

Let's go Wild! We are the state of hockey, so why can't we just beat the Avs?

Ducks FTW!!!! And Tyler Seguin looked incredibly hot in a losing effort.

Seguin is really hot. Parise is the hottest guy in the NHL though. Seguin is the close second

Sad to say I think that applies to far too many of the fans all of the big four sports in North America. We don't exactly cover ourselves in glory as a group.

On the positive side, I have heard repeatedly over the years that hockey players are the nicest/friendliest/most approachable of the big four.

    ... oh and Go Bruins!

Yeah, I guess so… I also find most hockey players to be incredibility nice as well. I think the Bruins reach the finals again this year; hopefully, the Blackhawks reach them again too. GO BLACKHAWKS!!!!

I would love to see a rematch of last year :icon_bigg

I absolutely love sports - love watching them, playing them, watching my kids play them, talking about them, reading about them - it's a shame that the locker room and sport related message boards are absolutely the last places I would feel comfortable being out.

Yeah I know, Sports fan can be so classless/rude. Such a good final last year- there really should be a rematch. I really hope so- for the Hawks sake and I guess the Bruins. Lol

I hear he's on the market... :icon_wink In his introductory press conference after the trade, when asked what he was most looking forward to about being on the Stars, he said that he was happy that the stars had more young single guys - that there were too many old married guys on the Bruins :roflmao:

my team is the oilers (sigh), but i become a boston fan during playoff season, which my family (full of boston fans) never lets me forget.

in my experience, this is 100% true!!! especially the younger guys, they're always happy to sign an autograph or have a little chat. i know of a restaurant where some players go for game day lunch, and they were happy to sign my jersey and have signed some stuff for some people i know as well. of course there's always the odd not-nice player, but i've only had good experiences so far

A few of the Bruins live in in the same neighborhood as my sister-in-law and are just regular friendly guys who frequent all the local stores, restaurants, bars, etc. - I think everyone in town actually knows them. One of them even brought the Cup by a local bar on their day a few years ago.

Andrew Ference (now captain of your Oilers, right?) used to actually ride his bike to work some of the time - I have a hard time picturing a baseball, football or basketball player doing that. :icon_wink

haha! definitely regular guys. gotta love em :icon_wink

yep he's captain now. we joke that the oilers are more golf players than hockey players :icon_roll though not many canadian teams have been doing well as of late. kind of disappointing :/
