Big bruins fan here. Gotta say I'm a little nervous about drawing Detroit in the first round - they seem to be a particularly bad match up. It won't get any easier if they get past the Wings and then have to face the Habs.

I'm sadly a Sabres fan. They have a lot of work to do before they get competitive again, but they are loaded with draft picks.

I picked the Blues to win it all before the season, but they've been struggling the last couple weeks. The Kings could be a dark horse in the West.

As for the East, Boston is loaded and I think they've got a good shot to come out of the East, but Detroit is my East dark horse. The Wings aren't a typical 8th seed; they've had a ton of injuries this year, but they have a lot of talent up front.

Oh, and I'm really hoping Columbus somehow finds a way to knockout Shitsburgh so I don't have to hear the bandwagon Dirty Bird fans for long.

Wow, what a start to the Montreal - Tampa Bay series. I think everybody thought it'd be close, but I don't think anybody saw 9 combined goals coming. Very sloppy play and a lot of turnovers, but hey, it made for entertaining viewing! Go Habs go!

The Columbus - Pittsburgh game looked quite exciting, too.

I think I may be asking too much of my heart to get through playoff overtime. So intense. Price's start doesn't give me a lot of confidence considering his playoff track record, but he showed up after regulation so hopefully he can carry that into next game.

I don't know a lot about hockey but do watch every now and then with my housemate.
Since he's a Canadiens fan, I usually just cheer them on.

My local team is the Sharks.
I'll ask my hockey-loving friend to give me some statistics.

First time in NHL history where there were 4 consecutive games of a team blowing a 3-1 lead to lose 4-3. Well done, Penguins-Blue Jackets!

Bruins vs. Habs. Should be quite a battle... too bad we have to wait a week for it to begin. Curse you HNiC!

This Blues/Blackhawks series is great one. I hope the Hawks close it out today, but I think this is going to 7, it's what a originally predicted as well. GO HAWKS!!!
