The last book I read was "Thirteen Reasons Why" by... I'm not sure who. It was one of many challenges between myself and my friend to see who could finish the chosen book in just the school day.

City of Ashes (Book Two of the Mortal Instruments Series) by Cassandra Clare. It wasn't as good as the first book, but has kept me interested enough to continue on with the series. Right now I've resumed reading Red-Headed Step Child (another fantasy) by Jaye Wells. I'm also hoping for some new books this Christmas. Some fantasy and some just regular fiction i.e. lesbian romances and opposites attract best friend dramas. They were on my list, so fingers crossed.

"The Secret History" by Donna Tartt. Really interesting look at the way people make moral choices about things! Fantastic read!

The Waters Rising by Sheri S Tepper. It doesn't have the plot points and complexity that hers usually do but still thoroughly engrossing. One of my favourite authors <3

Flowers for Algernon. Read the entire thing cover to cover last night. It was beautiful and depressing, and something I'm truly glad to have read. One of those books that stays with you. When I put it down last night, I couldn't stop thinking about it. Hell, I even dreamed about it. It caused so many conflicting emotions in me. Happiness, depression, sympathy, envy, love, hatred. I don't know how a book can do that, but it did, and it was beautiful.
