A Thousand splendid suns. I TOTALLY recommend it. even though it's not based on a true story, it's very realistic in that it reflects how people live when they let religion control them.
People still live like that in some parts of the world like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudia Arabia, Indonesia and many other.

I just finished rereading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Yay!

Now I'm reading American Wife by Curtis Sittenfield... pretty much the only reason being that my friend recommended it to me and I like her. lol

I'm currently finishing up Lady Susan and am about to start Sanditon for my British Lit class. Ah, Jane Austen...she bores me so.

The last one I finished completely was Zofloya by Charlotte Dacre. Good ol' gothic romanticism.

I just finished Anne Frank: the diary of a young girl, and am now reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. I'm a huge da vinci code enthusiast!

I just re-read My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. OMAIGAWD. It's amazing.
And now I'm reading The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. It is SOSOSO good.
Before My Sister's Keeper I read Sarah Dessen's The Truth About Forever and all of the Caroline B. Cooney books that I have. I suggest them ALL.

murakami is amazing... kafka on the shore is great, but wind-up bird chronicle is incredible. one of those rare 600-page literary novels you can't put down because it's so good

oryx and crake by margaret atwood... it's a dystopian vision of a world in which genetic engineering and science for its own sake are the false hope and ultimate destruction of humanity. there are a lot of flaws in character development, but it's an eerie world she creates, one that seems all too possible and real.

    I only read fantasy books.

The last book I read was called The Deed of Paksenarrion. I didnt quite finish the last part (Its three books in one, like 1200 pgs) because it was way overdue. I must get it back.

I highly recommend it if you like fantasy reading. It was very detailed and amazing, by far my favorite book of all time.

    Almost done with Brisingr atm.
