    Most experts recommend between 7-9 hours sleep per night for adults and 8-10 hours for teenagers. How many hours sleep do you get, on average.

    ;~; 7, but I need 10 typically... I have tested it, and I only work to my full potential if I get 10 hours... no more, no less.

    When I have class... At least 7 hours, at most 9 hours, pretty exactly. I now consistently wake up a couple minutes before my alarm clock rings, so I'm pretty used to this sleep pattern.

    Weekends? Breaks? Anywhere between 4 and 12 hours, but on average, 8 hours. I'm interested in transitioning to a polyphasic sleep cycle, actually, to cut down on sleeping time. Even though I love sleeping.

    Not on night shift obviously...
    sometimes more, but so far its around 8.

    if i manage to steal some time to sleep during night shift usually i only got like 2 to 4 hours

    during on call its a whole different story

    8-10 hours for teenagers? Who has that kind of time?

    My norm is around five and a bit hours. If I oversleep by much, I feel exhausted and drowsy for the whole day. :slight_smile:

    About 7. I'm a night owl so my sleep schedule varies but I usually knock out around 2am. If I have nothing to do then I don't wake up until 9 :3

    I sleep a lot. I might be overestimating it, but I assume I have about 11 or so hour of sleep a day when I am on break. Sometimes I just wish I never wake up.

    I usually get around 8 hours sleep. If I've stayed awake for nearly 2 days or more, then I probably sleep around 11 hours.

    I've experimented with polyphasic sleep. "Uberman", to be specific. It takes some time to get used to it and it's true what people say about going through "zombie mode" or feeling super tired at first. Ultimately, I like "normal" sleep too much, and I prefer being able to be awake for more than 4 hours at a stretch. Sometimes I wish I didn't need sleep because I could get more done, but then I'd probably be expected to do more, so... lol.

    It depends how hard my training schedule is, but I am typically 9 hours a night. When things get real heavy I'll do 10-11 hours.

    6. My sleeping pattern is out of whack, and all-nighters are very common.

    Before college, I usually don't sleep or sleep for 1 hour max.
    On weekends and holidays, I force myself out of bed before dusk. Depending on what time I sleep, I get around 6-8. If I fall asleep before dawn, I can easily do 12.

    If I sleep 5 hours, it's a good night. I need 8 but my body almost never does more than 6-7.
