How do you deal with the remarks/ defend yourself?

I have a lot of options to react to this kind of remarks as Twist and Fishtail wrote. There is one other possibility, an answer that I got somewhere else, mirroring, that is also an option. I think the topic was useful for me and that I will be better prepared next time, which was my intention to start with. Thank you all for reacting to my topic. Other suggestions are still welcome of course. I think it can be an interesting topic for other people on EC too.
