Homophobic Irish Comercial

    I hate the "Children must have a mother and father" message. Not even for how it says that a gay couple cannot raise children. It makes me mad because I was raised by a single mother. And yes, it would have been nice if my father hadn't fucking died when I was three years old. But it doesn't mean I'm some sort of broken person because I was raised by my mum. Do not talk about my mother like that.

    I hope this advert hasn't actually been allowed to be broadcast over there... I fear for my potentially naive step-gran!

    I also love how friendly they sounded.

    Unfortunately, these people would have a field day over me. My dad moved out when I was 5, and he was never really a father figure anyway, so they'd say that 'turned me gay', despite I clearly remember knowing I was different when I was like 4.
