Have you ever been mistaken for the wrong age?

In grad school people asked oh are you a sophomore?

No I'm a 5th year grad student?

I usually get pegged for younger. Always did here too.

I'm almost 24 and I'm mistaken for being an older teen a lot. I'm always surprised whenever I don't get carded at a bar.

 

I'm trans and have a baby face so it's guaranteed I'll look perpetually 14 and never like my chronological age

 

I'm often mistaken for being younger than I actually am! Also, sometimes my younger sister is mistaken for being the older one! How does that work?! :dry:

 

I'm 20 years old yet always have to show my id. I look like I'm in 8th grade.

 

I've been mistaken for an 18 year old many, many times. I don't complain

 

When I was in 8th grade: You look like a high school kid.
Now: You look like an 8th grader when you sit down.

 

I am 21 and people still think I am 16 or so.

 

i'm 30, I get mistaken for 24... certainly not complaining!

 

for about the past decade, people have fairly consistently guessed I'm in my mid-upper 20s. I've always had a somewhat professional appearance, though some (my parents) complain about my long hair now. (You'd rarely see me wearing just a t-shirt, and I think I might have owned a grand total of 4 or 5 pairs of jeans in my life) I showed one of my coworkers my old college ID that I had in my wallet because it was getting me some discounts some places, and shealmost didn't believe it was me.

Oh, people have thought I was younger than my little brother. I think in our case it's my long hair and his facial hair. (I never could stand having anything other than a smooth face)

 

Whenever I get IDd by door or checkout staff. I'm 23 ffs
