Have you ever been mistaken for the wrong age?

When I was little people always thought I was older than I was after speaking to me for a while.

Yes usually most people think I'm younger. I'm 21 and have been mistaken for anywhere between 12-14 years old. However it's great whenever I go somewhere and get in for kids price lol

 

I'm 25, but get mistaken for younger all the time. I have a baby face and a young voice.

 

Since I've started passing as male, I have people that think I am anywhere from 12-17. It's funny how they react when I tell them that I am actually 21.

 

Someone once thought I was nine. At that point, I was already 6 feet tall...

 

Yeah, it happens often. I look a lot younger. Only way for people to have an accurate guess at my age is to talk to me, but because I don't talk much, they don't know.

 

Yes I'm 14 but everyone thinks I'm 17. Idk people in my family tend to look older than they really are.

 

Most people think I'm 15-16, but one guy asked my aunt for my number after seeing a picture of me when I was maybe twelve or eleven. He thought I was nineteen..

yeah all the time they think I'm 18 when in fact I'm already 24!

 

When I was a younger, I was often mistaken as being many years older. If anyone thinks that I am older or younger, they haven't told me.

 

Think I've got a case of the Benjamin Buttons because when I was younger I was always mistaken for older and now vice versa. Never got asked for ID when I was underage or anything, if fact once I got talking to people they thought I was significantly older (like mid 20s) when I was only about 14 and I had to show my bus pass to prove otherwise. But then from about 19 onwards I started getting asked for ID and now at 28 I keep getting told I look 'MUCH younger'.

 

Quite a lot. Around 12, I looked about 8. Now, I can still pass for anything 2-3 years in either direction.

 

I'm 43 and people generally tend to peg me at mid-30s. My partner is even more so--he's 49 and people often think he's younger than I, oftentimes the same people who thought I was mid-30s. That's a 15 year spread for him!

 

I am trans pre-T , and thanks to that people kind of always gauge me younger. Usually around 15-17 yrs :/

My classmates thought I was 16 or 17. but i'm actually 19. haha. their reaction is priceless
