Well first, I think I’d just start off looking for friends. It’s much more subtle. But a lots happened here too... I came out to my school, but not literally my whole school, just the ones that have me on Snapchat. I haven’t told my dad, but I got an overwhelming amount of support on snapchat, and no one I know of has said anything about our friendship changing, so that’s a plus. Unless it changed without me knowing and I find out later and it’s real awkward...But anyway, that’s the big new.

Maybe I should ask for friends. I am glad things went well for you.

Thank you! But yes, I think starting off with friends is the best way. Find things in common with them. Maybe other things will start to click too, like humor and how you think.

Unfortunately, I was ignored even when I made posts asking for friends with my picture. Are you planning to come out to your parents soon? It might be better to wait until you move out.

Yeah I was thinking that. And it’s only my dad and my sibling with me, but it’s kinda difficult. I know he’d accept me, but I think things would change

Why would they change if he is not bigoted?

Because when my sister came out, things changed between them. He doesn’t let her go out all the time, but if I were to ask, it’d be a yes. I don’t think the love changed, but the comfort maybe. And he also said he’d rather a girl be gay then a guy, so yeah, that too

"he’d rather a girl be gay then a guy"? Sounds like bigotry. Well good luck.
