No. I listen to death metal mostly. I also enjoy classical, Chopin is my favorite. I know a lot of metalheads who enjoy classical though.

    No.
I just like good music, although lately there has been a lot of industrial in my playlists...

    For the most part, no.

However, if, when growing up, a person didn't like heavy rock or metal, and had some music that's easier on the ears on their list, then they were suspect. I like some classical, movie soundtracks, jazz, and easy listening, and, if a person has a problem with that, then it's THEIR problem.

I might say that, percentage wise, non-hetero guys might have a slight edge in liking classical and more sophisticated music than do hetero guys. Just a hunch.

Not really as far as genre goes, since I'm pretty much down with anything that doesn't hurt my ears. But I have noticed that I prefer female vocals over male, so that could be a thing.

I guess my dad has a gay taste in music. He mostly listens to classical music, but he also enjoys some random europop.

Haha. I know your dad must be cool, then. "Random" Europop is also good, except that the Europop I like has been identified and isn't so random.

I was going to say, "No, absolutely not." Then I realized I'm listening to Ani DiFranco at the moment. I still think I'd like her no matter my orientation, but she does fit into a lesbian music stereotype.

Yes; noise rock, free jazz, delta blues and instrumental surf rock are all obviously associated with being bisexual.

The only time it does is with certain dirty house tracks with overtly heterosexual content, that just comes across as misogynistic to me. It reminds me of how much I don't understand straight women. Other than that I have very diverse interests, some of them more queer and glamorous than others.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't really affect it much.

I guess in the sense that after coming out I was less embarassed about my music taste (love my diva music..mariah/whitney/celine/leona) so I really got more into the previously mentioned artists. Before that I'd try to conform to music "straight guys" would like...and yeah I do like some of it...but I aint passionate about it!

I'm pretty eclectic in the kind of music I listen to but if my sexuality influenced it, I'd appreciate Lady Gaga, I'd listen to that Macklemore song, and I'd get all hot and bothered every time Eminem says faggot.

But none of that applies to me so no. Sexuality has nothing to do with it.

I suppose it does have some sort of effect... I tend to stay away from derogatory music now, not just homophobic but everything. I can't help what plays on the radio though...

No, I don't think so.. but a few girls I know love rock music and they are lesbian  I don't know any straight girl listening to rock but I think sexual orientation have nothing to do with my taste in music.

I think it could a little.

For example, there aren't a lot of straight guys that listen to Britney or Avril Lavigne or something; but a lot of gay guys probably do.
That being said, music tastes are so diverse that it shouldn't matter at all.
