Do You Think You Would Have Kids Someday?

    I would like to adopt a boy and a girl, though knowing me, I'd end up adopting many more than that :slight_smile: (I grew up in a family of six (four kids, two parents) so the idea of a house full of kids doesn't phase me, after all, there's nothing lonlier than a big house full of empty rooms)

    When I was in love with this woman a couple of months back (it was one sided I think) I often imagined us getting married and having kids together because she really likes children and is really good with them and my mum really wants some grandchildren XD So that would have worked perfectly but I was just deluding myself with the idea that we would ever work.

    Yes. I'm not sure about a lot of things but I definitely want kids some day! Not right now of course I have to get my life in order, but I'm a kid at heart and just love letting my imagination go wild with my young cousins.

    I really want to adopt kids. Yes, I am gay, however, even if I were straight I would still want to adopt b/c there are too many kids that are born to parents who aren't mentally or financially ready and have to go through a hard, life dealing with poverty, abuse, drugs,etc.(I know not everyone has to go through that)
    If I could help even just one kid not go through that I would consider myself making a difference in the world.

    Yes i really do want to have kids someday.But I'm doubting my ability to be a good parent.First the line between being loving and strict which is something i tend to struggle with when given authority.Second I'm not sure if i could provide enough income let alone living in a house that's big enough for a family (I'm more of a single room flat kind of person)

    Yes I would. I don't if I want to do the having or if my partner will, or if we'll adopt etc. But I think that I would defiantly want 1 or 2 children, maybe 3. Actually I don't know about the number. We'll see.

    How can I put this...

    On the one hand, I would never, ever have biological children. I just don't want to. Also I believe I would be a poor parental figure since I dislike children in general and my OCD would just kind of shoot itself with having to take care of a kid and all.

    On the other hand, part of me wishes to adopt someday in hopes of at least making it so one kid doesn't have to go through an awful childhood like I did; plus, if the person I was interested in happened to have children already, I wouldn't mind. If they wanted one (or more I guess) after being with me, then that'd be debatable.

    I'm just... really, really not having a biological kid.
