Do you find clowns scary?

I'm not scared but I definately am disturbed *shudders*

 

The Joker is a clown... VERY disturbing. :lol:

Well not your current Joker-esque avatar, but in general. One day Oracle needs to fucking take that clown OUT! :badgrin:

I think people are crazy. I like clowns. I like how they're colorful, and I like how they try to entertain people. Most people around me are scared to death of clowns, and I don't understand it.

I was watching the "The Way I Am" video by Ingrid Michaelson, and my brother and my best friend started freaking out because there were clowns in it. And they weren't even scary; they were cute clowns.

No, I've never found clowns scary. I don't particularly like spiders or snakes, but I don't find them scary either.

 

I don't find them scary.
More annoying, if anything. They won't leave anyone alone, especially when they're having a serious conversation (okay, maybe not serious, but, a little privacy, please).

Other than that, I like that they get to wear multi-colored outfits (unless you're the emo-clown like me in Halloween lol)

 

At the moment I'm reading "IT" by stephen King. I finally got my hands on that book. And it's scary. I used to love clowns. Now I'm slightly creeped out by them. No doubt that by the end of the book I'll be terrified. But I want to watch the movie after reading it.

 

When I was really little I was waiting outside the ladies loo for my mum when a clown marched in - and I screamed the place down! :eek: Right, so that's my non-existent street cred out the window...

Nevertheless, they'd make a fantastic Doctor Who monster, like the Scarecrows last year!

 

Me?No,but my friend is.
We were in the mall one time.I found a freaky clown doll.
I put it near his head and said hello in a squeaky clown voice.
He ran like half across the mall.
Worst thing i could have done to him!lol

I read the book OMG!!

And the film is pretty freaky especially the library bit with all the balloons!!!

 

I saw that movie when I was, like, 8 and I didn't sleep for around 3 days after.

Despite that incident, I'm pretty apathetic about clowns.

same here, im not scared of them, just find them quite annoying, but my friend is super scared of them---in louisiana its almost mardi gras, so the school put up this mardi gras mask clown/joker looking thingy, and he wont go anywhere near that thing---its really funny lol

 

i ate clowns they are the creepiest thing they had a clown room at one of the haunted houses here i almost pissed myself twice

 

I used to think clowns are scary, becasue they got super pale skin and super red nose and super big lips But some are cute

If I se them in standing near me in teh dark Imma freak out cuz they gonnna look like ghosts

Ever since I was a small kid. Especially after seeing that one movie about killer clowns or whatever. I think my mom would purposely hire clowns for our birthday parties just because she knew we didn't like them and to see us get scared.

Now I'm not afraid of them, but just creeped out by them.
