Well this is off topic but I've been known to say "Get those niggers" in a very bad southern accent sarcastically when I'm trying to bring humor to a racist situation around both my black and my white friends honestly the only time I've heard black people use the word nigger is when being sarcastic about racism you know. But 'Nigga' is a word that I use that can have many meanings and that I don't think is inherently bad when used in the proper context I.e not being an asshole I've had white friends refer to reach other as such and I've done the same it's not that big a deal to some people anymore...
But to answer the Ops question even from a young age I've always called someone gay or a lesbian never really felt the need to be rude about it cause I guess I always knew that I wouldn't want someone to call me that ya know
