As for myself, I use mine for cute pics of animals, like bears and otters, and pics of cute guys, like "bears" and "otters" ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

 

I suspect that I can count the amount of worthwhile things on tumblr on one hand.

But yeah I only use Tumblr for gay porn now and again (I should probably make a second account so I can repost it) but it is funny to find the 'oct-gender transexual lesbian who only feels sexual attraction to an empty mars bar wrapper' :lol:

Never used Tumblr nor do I plan to use it.

 

Tumblr is basically pornhub + cat pictures.

Depends who you follow. Some Tumblr stuff is great like fandom GIFs etc, but there are a lot of negative stuff to (Like Femnazi's)

TBH like others have said, I usually only go on for porn, hot GIF's and pictures :icon_wink

 

It depends on who you follow and what you want to look at. Yes, there are blogs out there with stuff that is disgusting and doesn't make sense half the time but there's also stuff that is the opposite of that. Like Psych-2-Go is a place that offers information on different mental illnesses and you can go to them and ask them for help. Usually they'll give you some free local hotlines you can call if you're in a desperate situation.

I follow people who post funny things, video games and people who mainly post stuff on RuPaul's Drag Race. I've had maybe 2 or 3 arguments with a few other bloggers in the past but that's really it.

 

I mostly just get sick of the lesbophobia on Tumblr which seems to be promoted by 90% of LGBT people there. Ugh. Rather just stay on EC.

As for otherkin in general:

You want any specific pronouns like "sprout" etc.?Fine.

You want to dress/ act/ walk/whatever in a specific way?Fine.

If you aren't too "and that's why I'm so special" about it i might be even willing to accept you as whatever you feel you are.
BUT there are some basics that shouldn't be touched.

Things like pissing on other people (as mentioned below) break with the general respect you should have for other human beings.If you don't want somebody to piss on you than don't piss on others.(and even if you don't mind that just think of the position the other would be in)

Second thing :accept others if you want to be accepted.Wanting to be accepted as a cat or whatever but telling for example christians that they "should stop believing in their fictional friend already" is a very stupid double standard not to mention ignorant.

And third:I have no time for people that seek attention that way.If you want attention say so or act that way but please don't declare yourself special and better than us other mere humans.

The trans community on tumblr is pretty bad too, there's tons of misinformation, ridiculous stuff, and negativity towards other groups. I worry that people I know will see the stuff they say on there, and take trans people less seriously.

But seriously, I thought tumblr was mostly people posting GIFs and shipping characters. As for otherkin, that's just what we need, a bunch of lunatics trying to have sex with animals and giving ammunition to the people who say that legalizing gay marriage leads to legalizing bestiality and stuff like that. Also, an animal can't consent. It's wrong on so many levels.

 

tbh I still haven't figured out if I find otherkin offensive to the trans* community or not :lol: For the most part, it's harmless enough.

Ah, tumblr. We had some good times.

Back when I was a more active member of the Homestuck fandom I used to post on tumblr a lot. I was actually the gr8est Vriska Rp-er of them all, haha. Though I drifted away from the site when I went to college. I just used alternate blogs for porn and trolling all the idiots I met on the site. But then I realized that it was a pretty negative and disgusting time sink. I've been tumblr-free for ... wow, maybe a year and a half?

I don't miss it. I 8n't going 8ack.
