    Alright, I think it's time this went up here :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
    So Diablo 3 has been in production for approximately 10 years, and we finally get a closed beta up! Blizzard has recently announced that they are 'delaying' (I say it as such because there was never a definitive release) until 2012 (unsurprisingly!).
    Anyways, the beta looks amazing, graphical comparisons have showed very slight if not subtle differences between Low, Medium, and High graphic quality.
    And the game looks all and all: fun!
    I can't wait to play it, and I've been waiting since ... well Diablo for it!
    Though I have my worries: Difficulty in the early phase of the game (beta) seems WAY too easy. The new skill system might be a bit weird to me...
    What do you guys think :grin:

    Woohoo. Can't wait for them to release D3.. i'd say 10 years is a pretty long wait so it darn be good lol.

    I've had bad luck with betas so I'll wait for the full one... Torchlight was good (made by the Diablo 2 team) but seemed a bit too geared for casual gamers to keep my attention that long.

    Nope! I've read that it is open to anyone with a Battle.net account with any game registered. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: You're still safe if you have at least one!

    OH! NOW WE WANNA TALK ABOUT DIABLO! ok.
    I never played it before, nor do I have any game on my battle.net account, so I have to wait for the full game. :'(
    I may buy a desktop computer basically just for Diablo III.
    Do you guys watch any streams of the beta? Like on Justin.tv or Twitch.tv? I enjoy them, though they get really repetitive and would get boring after 10 playthroughs.

    yea i watch alot on justin.tv and twitch.tv, i find it helps improve my gaming skills and also shows me what im lacking also, though i dont watch streamed beta though

    I got the betaaaa! :grin:

    I so love the wizard, the skills are insanely spammy, and feels overpowered compared to other class at the moment. From my point of view, DH feels the weakest since they need to rely on normal hit at the moment while the rest just spams skills to no end.

    I think what I'm more worried about is the difficulty scaling. The beta looks WAY too easy, and it's kind of disappointing. Granted that it is only the beginning, but I'd like to see some sort of challenge. I've seen people on stream not even watch where they're clicking, practically blindfolded playing the game and still making it through easy.
    The whole thing with making potions and health more scarce also seems like it failed because they aren't :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Much like Starcraft 2, it is absolutely random. You must opt-in with your battle.net account (but must at least have one game registered to it)

    ok what class is everyone going to choose?

    for me im going to make a witch doctor since they dont have a necromancer like they did in diablo 2, and because i think the witch doctor looks freakn awesome

    i may make a barbarian as sort of a side character for items and money

    Don't worry, the beginning of Diablo I (only one I've played) was ridiculously easy too. I definitely foresee it becoming exponentially more difficult. Oh and I'll be choosing the Wizard, as always :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:.

    omg so lame i just found out that even though i can buy the game early in the morning, i have to wait till 5PM till i can actually play the game cause of the time difference between the countries and the release date (Australia reaches the 15th well before most countries zzzz)

    not fair :tears:
