There definitely is a perverse satisfaction in that. I'm not gonna lie, I kinda like that too, but at the same time, it's really embarrassing, especially if you've never worn skirts before.

Bras are great! And my breastforms that I have are realyl really easy to make and they instantly make you less "man-shaped" as you called it. Just a pair of nylons with birdseed in each foot, then tied off and cut so they're just little baggies. I use about a cup-and-a-half of birdseed in each foot, which gives me about a C-cup chest.

I feel bad but all I can imagine is you running down the street with birds diving at your boobs while the wind blows your skirt up!

Aaaah nuuuu I don't want birds to eat my boobs!

Although I have found that birdseed does have a bit of a smell. I haven't tried rice or couscous, but I've heard those both work somewhat well too for cheap breastform options as well.

    Balloons by some chance?

I mean I don't want them but some suggest using those or softballs or baseballs for symmetry.

Balloons and baseballs aren't really the best in my experience. For baseballs, not only are they hard, but it looks like you just have baseballs under your shirt. Balloons tend to be squeaky and can pop suddenly sometimes.

I just prefer birdseed or similar substances since they sag somewhat realistically and they're easily adjustable if they get loose.

EDIT: Aldo going along with that, water balloons can work somewhat well, but if they spring a leak, it is immediately obvious in several ways and I wouldn't suggest it.

I really don't want something like baseballs (or even tennis balls) underneath my shirt. I can already tell that would be extremely uncomfortable for the entire time I'm crossdressing. If I do something like the rice thing, how much should I use? I don't want boobs that are too big, just enough to maybe turn heads if it's noticed.

Basically, I'll probably be crossdressing while I edit stuff. I'm probably not gonna go out with this until my face is cleared up, at the very least. My voice also leans slightly male-ish (which makes sense). So idk if I'll want to do some sort of vocal training to naturally raise it more before I go out crossdressing.

Just saying I prefer symmetry with a fixed size object

Personally I think if you have the funds, just buy a cheap set of breast forms rather than worrying about making some.

Trust me, I'm gonna buy several bras.
Just curious, was it your friend that told you that you look man-shaped or were you telling me I look man-shaped?

Capris if you can stand them. I hate them, but lots of girls love them. Skinny jeans are really popular with both guys and girls these days, and the material isn't as constricting as it used to be. They do accentuate guys' junk, so tucking might be a good idea.

For a more feminine shape, there are body slimmers, but I wouldn't recommend them, since they make it difficult to use the bathroom. Another option is undergarments with a built in girdle, which are more comfortable than they sound.

Regarding breasts, I would consider a padded bra, though I don't know how realistic that would be.

Yes skinnies do not leave room for imagination.

    Skirts do add that mystique.

If you're going to do the rice, I'd suggest going a half-cup at at time and trying them out until you find one that looks good for you. I use about 1 1/2-1 3/4 cups of birdseed and it gives me about a small C-cup chest.

Going along with what PurpleGrey said, body slimmers are difficult to get used to. I rarely wear my waist cincher since it's hard to bend over while I wear it.

I look man-shaped! I do! Sorry, didn't mean to make it sound like it was aimed at you!!

I've worn unitards before, which seem to be similar to body slimmers. So with that said, if I do end up going with one, how much do those cost usually?

No, I was just unsure, due to how the sentence was structured. I wanted to make sure I was reading it correctly.

Body slimmers run around 20 to 60$ depending where you look.

No more than twenty, but I don't know the exact price. I'd say around the price of a bra, maybe a little more.

U know what's a cool look that you might be able to sport if you have the legs for it like I do. U can wear either a tight dress shirt or a tube top. Combine that with a plaid skirt of your choice with black heels. I try to keep my style punk or chic. Depends on my mood. As jimmy James would say "I zigzag but sometimes I zog."

If weather permits I will be out and about as a hot red head again with a black lace dress. With red jewellery and I plan on using a red scarf as a sash that I will tie around my waist.
