Anyone play Runescape?

took a nap otherwise I'd of gone, for some strange reason I ate and couldn't stay awake anymore.

 

I have a maxed account on it.

I have heard some people say they really like old school, but I just don't see it, since I already know how the game works. I can't go back to my 'nub' days.

I haven't played in months (though I am really tempted to log in to do the new quest if I ever have time).

 

The World Wakes is like, filled to the brim with lore, just don't expect a challenge since your maxed.

 

This. I was disappointed they made it grandmaster and hyped it so much, then made it so easy. The only slightly difficult part was tanking all the stuff that Zemouregal spawns. Maybe it was because I was using void though.

 

The tornados on kree'arra can be a pain too.......they just dont stop moving -_-

 

Well, I took the time to find my log in info. As it turns out, the 2007s are member exclusives >.>. I was not aware.

 

I sold my soul to runescape from 2008 to 2010, but I stopped playing in middle school. I still remember all the passwords and bank PINs though!

I think I played it a few days when I was thirteen. One time a random guy asked me to be engaged to him. A guy with Inuyasha's suit.

 

I used to play it back in elementary school around Gr.4-6 and surprisingly other people played it too in my grade before they became popular. If I remember correctly I always focused my skills on Mining and Fishing to make decent GP off of people. Those lobbys sold for a lot then.

hehe, I played it years ago and used to subscribe. Then, I found games with better graphics and storylines, and abandoned it. I still occasionally log on for nostalgia, and sometimes I get hooked for hours playing.

+ Are we allowed to PM usernames? PM's are not publicly accessible, and I'd love to be able to get jumped in the Wilderness with someone who won't laugh at me Unless, they changed the Wildy again and made it non-PvP.

 

I stopped playing Runescape in August 2011 and I recently logged on just out of curiosity and it's like a whole new game. Member skills are capped at level 5 which means I can't make money. And they've changed the requirements of weapons and armour which means I can't wear any of my rune armour and it would take forever I get my Defence level up to level 50. (It doesn't help that they've f:***:ed up the combat system.)

I started playing runescape now that old school is back, messege me if you want to add me in game.

 

I spent a -ridiculous- amount of time on RuneScape from 2004-2009. Like, over 10,000 hours. I managed to max 2376 in the summer of 2008, but after that I lost a lot of interest in the game. RS was really the best thing for me though. It gave me a purpose during a dark time in my life, and most of my best friends I met on there. I do still occasionally log in, but I don't really have goals anymore.

By the way, I am -not- Murikan on the RS hiscores, so don't PM him/her thinking it's me.

 

I used to play it a LOT!! Until I had AP classes in high school, therefore the games went bye-bye.

 

Yup. I think that was the main thing killed my addiction: AP's and college applications.

Whenever I see this thread I have an urge to login for a short period of time for nostalgia lol.

 

I used to play Runescape - back in dull, boring high school where you could frankly sleep through everything and get straight A's.


I even got 99 runecrafting - without botting! (Oh yeah, was a total no-lifer for a bit there )

Then I sold off everything but my pretty yellow partyhat to go with the rc cape, and retired to only occasionally logging on to throw snowballs at people.
