    Just heard the song Pheonix by Satyricon. Always been one of my favorite bands but this song is such a departure from their previous stuff and I love it.

    I love every type of metal..

    Favorites, however (I'll include a guessed percentage of how much I listen to the particular type):

    - Type in "Black Dahlia Murder" for Pandora, 40%.
    - Type in "Dimmu Borgir" for Pandora, 40%.
    - 10% Symphonic Metal.
    - 10% "Other."

    And I always add the disclaimer that I do not listen to or care about any of the lyrics. Turning a blind eye there... :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    I grew up on thrash; the big four in particular (Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer, & Metallica). I started playing guitar when I was 14 and I still play metal (all cores) to this day. I'm 41 and still banging my head daily. I don't have as much hair as then.

    Metal has always been a catharsis for me.

    Yeah, I like Metal. Metallica, Megadeth, Motörhead, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, pretty much anything that a. is Metal, and b. sounds good to me, I'm all for it.

    I like metal! I'm big on metalcore and deathcore, but there are a lot of types of metal I also enjoy.

    I could list of a bunch of bands, but I'm not sure if anyone will read it, so I'll say that I'm thoroughly enjoying Periphery's newest album right now.
