Hi everyone I posted this thread in june https://forum.emptyclosets.com/inde...-heres-why-i-think-thats-a-good-thing.472881/ and since then I've figured some things out. I can not stress enough how important it is to get out in the real world and experiment, socialize and reflect if you can. I did just that and here I am. I went to pride. Last week I went on a date with a woman I met on a dating app. My first real date. We kissed, even though I was scared to do it in public at first, we went to a more secluded place and I kissed her goodbye. We're meeting next week for a second date at her place. And how do I feel? Well. I'm not gonna label myself but I like women. Sexual attraction isn't instant for me though, it takes some time for me to evaluate how I feel for someone but I know I find her attractive. I'm gonna move to a bigger more accepting city this year and start dating women regularly. Not interested in men and haven't been since I understood my attraction to women. I never thought I'd get to this point and I'm happy. So the message I want to give you all is for most of you thinks will be okay in the end. Whatever that means for you. /RebeccaK
Once we accept ourselves, things usually get easier. Being honest with ourselves and living authentically is the best for us and those around us. Take care.
