I think because most people are unaware about LGBT issues other than "homophobia is bad" by some. Let alone bi visibility. Just my thoughts.

I think everybody writes answers based on their own experience and I think that's a good thing. Because for me it was necessary to go fully through the questioning including "I'm a lesbian in denial?" "Have I been influenced by heteronormativity (of course, we all are) and what are the consequences?" etc. Concerning sexuality, I just take people on their word. As for the why is it so hard for people to get? People like boxes and they like people to fit in them. They want a straight box and a gay box, it should be one or the other, so they can feel safe in their own box. We blur the lines between the boxes straight and gay and that makes some people feel uncomfortable.

I think some people are just too simple minded and want everyone to fit neatly into one group or another. These are the kinds of people who take a concept like yin and yang literally with no appreciation for the nuanced philosophy that birthed it. They are sleepwalking through life, taking everything at face value and questioning nothing. I imagine they are generally very happy-go-lucky since ignorance is bliss. And those kinds of people are pretty fucking ignorant. Personally I would distance myself from such people. Life is too short to try and educate everyone who expresses an uninformed opinion. It's also safe to assume that many of these people are deceptive or compulsive liars. Projection at it's finest. They assume that because they lie about themselves all the time that everyone else must be too. Don't trust them as far as you can throw them. Fools who take everyone else to be a fool are the worst kinds of people, because they lack the insight to realise people catch onto them all the time, they will do untold amounts of damage.
