    Yah at the time it felt right to be involved. I thought we were still in a poly relationship, just without the sex. Now that it's clear to me that my wife no longer wants to be married i'm working on changing my focus to my kids. I've been a stay at home dad for about 8 years and before that I had low paying food jobs. Never went to far because we ended up traveling for my wife's career. And now I'm in Silicon Valley area which bounces around between 1 and 2 most expensive places to live in the US. Honestly it makes it easier focusing on the kids. I have a lot i need to get done for them.

    At this point it really depends on the day. I'm still working on the acceptance that my marriage will one day be over.

    When one door closes another will open, don't think about it as a final over but as in a new chapter and you will find yourself looking back and realising these steps you took helped you be the person you want to be :slight_smile:

    Yah it's a very sobering thought. I am the only one that has my best interest at heart. So I need to be the one to take action.

    If you need help with anything I would be glad to help you :slight_smile: only you can be your best advocate, because you gotta depend on yourself a lot of the time because nobody understands your circumstances better than you. Plus other people drop the ball a lot and don't really care. Believe me I am always in a catch-22 situation. :/

    Eh... that's very optimistic of you heh. I do appreciate the feeling but I'm not looking into the future right now. As of right now, I have no want to find that right person. I have myself and my kids to worry about. That's plenty

    Then focus on what you want and be happy and healthy. :slight_smile: Do what is best for you and your kids, it is a delicate balance but you have gotten this far so don't give up :slight_smile:
