What kind of drunk are you?

The hyper, energetic one, who laughs a lot, and likes to talk to people & listen to their stories of where they're from, what they do...also, the emotional one, as it very much seems to accentuate feelings, from happy to sad.

But certainly one you wouldn't forget.

 

I get happy and my inhibitions go down. I feel really warm and good and whatever filter I have when sober is gone.

 

I've never been "drunk" I did get a bit tipsy though at a wedding when I was 9 and that was when I had 3 glasses of champagne. I have a low metabolism so it can take a lot for me to actually get buzzed.

I'm the happy drunk. Whenever I get drunk I'm always a lot more social and happy. I love talking to people and dancing. Like, my personality goes from bland to fabulous.

 

I have only been in that state 2 or 3 times, and I was in college or grad school on each occasion. If I recall, I got silly and then I got sleepy and tired. The first 2 times, I drove myself home and I don't know how I would have scored on a blood alcohol test. I was not pulled over and made it home ok. The third time resulted in a hangover and feeling nauseous the next morning. I have rarely consumed alcohol after that. That was enough. That said, I was neither very funny nor did I feel good. A repeat performance was not necessary.

I no longer drink to the level of being drunk. But I get even more fun and more hyper I think. Unless I'm having a shit day in which case I am the same but I feel dead inside (< which is why I only drink like a beer or two, once a month)

 

The thoughtfully bitter drunk who likes to "talk big" about politics or personal life.
The foolishly happy drunk who blacks out and does things he regrets because of his emotional intensity.

 

What's hard is to have to deal with someone who is a combative drunk. I had a friend like this. "Had" implies it was in the past. Sadly, this person was so smart at other times and could read people and situations with incredible accuracy, and we could sit there and discuss these things ... if he hadn't been drinking.

 

I either get crazy and start dancing, start hugging everyone, or cry the night away.

 

Just really relaxed, and I don't care about anything. But I'm pretty boring drunk.

 

I've only been drunk a couple of times in my life.

And I have to say, that I am a giggler. I point and giggle at EVERYTHING.
Like an idiotic teenage girl.....I sit there and giggle and point.

 

My friends have told me that I'm a violent drunk...That's odd...

 

One who causes some vandalism.

 

I can't drink due to medical issues, so I suppose the world will never know.

 

Loud and annoying, more than usual, I feel bad for my neighbours because when I was 15/16 I used to come home from my friends and would be really loud and shout all the way home

Doesn't that happen to everyone? I need to pee a lot when I'm durnk, and I will pee wherever (which is gross). I would probably pee my own pants but I dunno if that ever happened, I hope not./ Maybe if I was so drunk I couldn't walk. Happened to one of my friends though, he will never live it down lol. That's what happens when you drink an entire bottle of Jack Daniels (which is a dumb thing to do).

 

Well I don't think I've ever been "drunk." But, I think I was close to being drunk once. I just said stupid things and laughed at everything. I was also really sleepy. Of course, it was like 4 AM.

I imagine a most drunk version of this would just be more extreme.

 

It depends on what I drink and how much. I can laugh non-stop and I can cry non-stop....
