How old we're you when you discovered your attraction to the same sex?

I begun crushing on boys when I was 7-8 years old, I experimented with 3 boys when I was11, I told a boy that I loved him when I was 12 and he became my first BF...but the word gay didn't come into my vocabulary until I was 13 and outed by my first BF.

 

Around 10, when the boys in my class discovered porn. I was terrified of being attracted to guys. It took me another 10 years to be comfortable with who I am.

 

As long as I can remember. I didn't realise what they meant until I was around 11 or 12

 

11, 12, 13? and several points in the intervening 50 years... and full stop, at 72!

 

I always had crushes on girls. I didn't really figure out that they were crushes until I was 10 though, and even then I pushed the feelings down. When I was 13 I began questioning my feelings, and when I finally accepted them when I was almost 15.

 

15..... There were signs before then, but I was brainwashed by my church into thinking about having sex (with anyone) before marriage is wrong.

 

I think maybe somehow part of you always know that you are different

 

Ahhh mine was a bit weird
I've always had very intense friendships with girls (I didn't think anything of them)
I remember having a crush on my riding instructor when I was 8 but completely buried it
I always used to kiss my female best friend when I was 7/8 but once again didn't think anything of it
When I was 14 I made out with my best friend (at the time) we were both drunk but the whole night I wanted to kiss her more and then when she got a boyfriend I was devastated but refused to believe it was because I liked her in that way.
Literally didn't let myself think about girls for even one second after that and although I was never attracted to men in real life I did like male celebrities so I thought I was 100% straight
When I was 18 I fell in love with my female best friend and began to accept the fact I might be bisexual
Then as more time went on I became less and less attracted to the celebrity men I had idolized over and more attracted to women and then when I was 19 I realized I was gay

Since I'm like 4.

I remember watching Spanish operas and falling in love with the main characters.

 

When I was 18

 

First started realizing guys when I was in 8th grade (about 14-ish). Then after dating two more girls (and feeling empty or wrong in these relationships) I realized "Hey... maybe I'm gay." Dated a guy and was like "WOW. Why weren't my past relationships so fun or fulfilling?" So then I finally accepted myself this year and don't hide my thrist for the gentlemens. -w-

 

First time I suspected I was 10, but I denied it, so it doesn't really count. It finally dawned on me fully like eight months ago... so I was 13.

 

As a boy, I found my first attraction to the opposite sex when I was 7-8 years old and found myself sexually attracted to boys the following year aged 8-9. I was very interested and started exploring myself including putting things inside me that would fit in my bottom. I was right into it. LOL

 

I found myself attracted to girls during junior high, so like, 11-13? And I came out last year, and now I'm almost 16. Only my friends really know; no one in my family knows about my sexuality, etc.. And during the end of junior high I discovered I was genderqueer, and waited 2 years until I figured it wasn't just a phase.

 

I think it's predestined to encounter both sexualities at some point in ones life. I've always wanted a female but I'll say about six. I encountered sexuality itself coming from a male before, the age of three by no fault of my own. I thought sexuality was how to play with others and I didn't know anything different and there were many other children who thought the same thing as myself. Without penetrating or sodomy us kids played like it was one big neighborhood orgy for years and we were mostly unattended from sun up till sun up sometimes. Anyway, I've wanted a woman

When did I first find members of the same sex attractive? I have no idea. I can recall staring at images of other boys starting as far back as when I was no older than 5. When did I first consciously notice that I found certain boys cute in a way that was probably crush-like? I was probably 21 or so, but didn't explore it until I was 25 this year. So at least a few years of denial. (Plus, I had some sexual experimentation when I was 10 or 11 that had me wondering).

Now, I get aroused by guys all the time. My arousal (or lack thereof) to women hasn't changed at all. My feelings are pretty much the same. I'm just finally admitting that I have feelings for dudes and allowing myself to explore them without the self judgement I had for so many years.

 

I think I was about 7 when I thought a girl was pretty. Then after that I just ignored the feelings until I was twelve and had my first serious crush on a girl. It was then when I knew.

 

When I look back, I definitely had "different" feelings for girls. Like, at 3 or 4. I don't even think I realized it was an attraction back then, it just was what it was and I didn't pay attention to it.

 

When I was 10, 11 it was when I started finding myself being attracted to men, but I denied that for 5-6 years so it wasn't until I was 16 that I accepted it.
