    p.s. I like Lady Gaga but I'm listening to Steve Reich right now. I probably enjoy Gaga more though and she has better replay value. Oops!

    I am not really into that type of music anyway. I prefer instrumental/classical; more feeling and emotion to it than some remix crap.

    I have a moderate opinion of Lady Gaga: I like some of her songs, but I think she only got interesting musically after her first two albums. Born This Way was the first album that, to my ears, sounded as original and experimental as her reputation would lead you to believe she is. The Fame and The Fame Monster were, in my opinion, way too generic to justify her status as the most famous artist in pop; I think she only got famous because of her outfits and other such visual stunts (e.g. music videos).

    Nicki Minaj... with all due respect, MatthewJS, I'm don't see how you can dislike Gaga and like Nicki. I'm just going to leave it at that.

    Outfits-revealing skin in every video
    Videos-burning cross, upside down cross
    Lyrics-and i will regret saying this "in love with judas" that is a servant/slave of the devil!
    There it is people why i dislike her!

    I wouldn't say I hate Lady Gaga, but I rarely listen to her at all, unless it's in a store where I have no choice. Sometimes I can barely tell if it's her on the radio or not. As for Nicki Minaj, I don't really get her or her popularity, honestly, except for how Nicki is one of the very few major female rappers around right now. Other than that, I'm not sure.

    What I am sick of, though, is how the biggest female stars in music right now all wear revealing clothes and sell their image based largely on sex (Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, etc.) I'm all for wearing what you want and being sexual, but I wish women had more diversity and talent when it comes to female musicians/performers, besides sex, sex, sex. It's kind of one-dimensional in a way.

    Hey everyone has there own beliefs. I listen to music to be entertained and Nicki does that for me. I have multiple reasons for why I don't like Lady Gaga. Honestly, I don't see why I should defend my musical tastes, and if my musical choices are weird then I'm okay with that.(!)

    you're right, i'm sorry :/. i just don't see how Minaj is less 'satanic' than Gaga. + Minaj hardly shows less skin than Gaga does [& showing skin isn't a bad thing tbh]

    Valid. If lady gaga is satanic then minaj is too, the difference? Minaj doesn't talk about it all the time and shove it down your throat.
