    Got up at 7 to be at the music department at 9am, sat there for an hour and a half doing not very much at all before being told I wasn't really needed...fail. Oh well, it's given me the whole day ahead of me. :slight_smile:

    We can weave some complicated webs for ourselves, can't we Ljssussex
    We cling on to our personal ideals as if they are all we have to live for.
    Who was it wrote "Ideals are like the stars, we may never reach them, but boy do we prosper by their presence".
    The problem is, if those ideals are false, then we shouldn't even attempt to reach them.
    And lets face it, deep down we know what is true and what is false.

    My only ideal at the moment, is to enjoy what I have today.
    If I've constantly got one foot in the past (thinking about what I should have done) and my other foot in the future (worrying about what I can do) then I'm going to end up pissing on today.

    That's what I'm trying to think about. Keeping it in the day. :icon_wink

    Oh, and one other thing Ljssussex, let me blow you a KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) (*hug*)

    It's hailing, so I'm really damned glad I didn't go outside. The weather's been positively bipolar today, so I'm not going to go outside and risk getting pelted with tiny hail or a downpour.

    I'm going to be on a plane to Canada roughly 26 hours from now, and I'm feeling pretty stoked, since this will be the first time I have ever been to Canada in my 22 years as an American.

    I'm heading first to Niagara Falls, and then to Toronto. I've got two full days in the former and one full day + a half day in the latter, so based on that, have you got any suggestions for good places to visit (besides the falls, of course)?

    In Toronto, and depending on what you like doing and seeing, take a walk through the downtown core. I find it to be a nice walk. Yonge Street is definitely the street to be on, and is the main hub for activity in downtown. If you want, take a ride up the CN Tower. If you like to shop, the Eaton Centre is a good place to start, although there are also a few really neat shops around the Eaton Centre as well. For food and tasty snacks, I'd suggest St. Lawrence Market. :slight_smile:
