Diablo 3

I know nothing about diablo (and too lazy to google ), I got it free so thought I might as well play it. Is there anything important ill need to know before playing?

 

Well have you played Skyrim? You get to choose you character, then train for specific skills. Take as much side and little missions in the beginning as possible to climb levels fast.

 

Installing now, hopefully I get the activation key tomorrow via e-mail, else I have to wait until my CE arrives by regular mail.

 

I got it free - never played a diablo game before - but it looks good

 

How comes people are getting it for free?! :dry:

 

technically the game is free to download, but you have to buy an activation key to actually play the game

 

Mine technically isnt for free but I didnt pay for diablo, I got it free with the annual pass for WoW since I was going to have it for a year anyway I signed up for the WoW mount and Beta. Diablo also being included in it was just an extra bonus.

 

i got the same thing but the opposite if that makes sense, when i bought my diablo 3 it gave me a free pass to WoW, though it only lasts up to lvl 20, i also got 3 passes for free to play diablo 3 only up to the skeleton king boss though, quite useless if you ask me

I'm getting traumatic memories from the Guild Wars 2 Beta all over again.
Really couldn't they at least have added some sort of que, or god forbid more servers?

 

Lol Have you never played wow? This is blizzard we a talking about, logic has no value to them!

Sigh, my collectors edition is at the post office so I have to wait. Though from what I hear most people cant get in and when they do it goes so slow that you cant play.

 

I have, glad I quit a long while ago though.

I got mine at the regular time, so I am happy about that as there was some confusion in the Netherlands due to the CE being sold out rather quick.

I did manage to play an hour or two in the afternoon, got my monk to lvl 11, no problems with speed, graphics or anything. But still would like to continue you know, seeing as I payed for the game and all...:tantrum:

 

I have never seen a game with so many types of login errors.

 

Wow is having them atm also

 

OMG the server is down AGAIN, it was released at 5pm yesterday and it took me till 6:40 to actually logg in :/

anyways where is everyone up too? im in act 2 im not going to ruin the story line so i wont say wat quest, AND im lvl 24 witch doctor, totally owning everything with exploding frogs confusion and poisen cloud lololol

 

I can log into WoW just fine now. Even MoP beta works for me.

But Diablo 3 is down.

 

Ah yeah a friend of mine cant log onto D3 atm either. It just took me like 5 min to get into wow

 

Grrr at the login issues...good hour and a half till I can play again.


Game is awesome otherwise. Ended up choosing a Monk, which is awesome. Love their fighting style. Only got up to level 10 though.

 

Well, my copy arrived in the mail today, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for it working by this evening...

 

Well the login part is working fine now, but the game itself has suddenly become rather laggy, as opposed to yesterday. Latency sometimes goes up to 1100+.
Hopefully they'll solve this soon.
