In restaurants and places like that sometimes the waiters think I'm 18 (especially when I haven't shaved in a while) and I can get served without being actually 18 or being IDed haha
Ah, I lead a charmed life. When I was young, people always thought I was older than I was. My first girlfriend asked me out when she was 19...when she found out I was only 16, she was...um, somewhat abashed. Now I'm in my late 40's, and people often think I'm a good bit younger. Woot!
I'm not really sure how old I look but I think most people assume I'm younger than I am. I just turned 28, but a couple months ago I had to fly for work and my seat was in the exit row. The flight attendant asked the woman next to me if I was her son, and then asked me if I was at least 16.
ALL THE TIME. Yeah, yeah, I get it, I'll appreciate my baby face when I'm 40, but right now, it sucks. I'm a senior in college and I still get handed kids menus when I go out to eat with my family.
Yup, I'm 30 and still look like I'm in my early 20's...my daughter asked me a few times if I was still a teenager LOL
The one good thing that happened to me today, Some guy asked how old i was and i told him to "guess". He started with 25, then asked if i was actually younger... Made me happy inside, if only it were not for the panic attack that ensued moments later.
Everyone tells me I could pass for a few years younger. I started driving by myself at the beginning of this year and my mom says I look like a "baby behind the wheel." But that's probably just her motherly side.
I can look younger or older depending on my mood it seems. If I'm kind of serious, most people think I'm older. This also happens if I have facial hair. If I'm more happy and hyperactive, which is most of the time when I'm with my friends, most people think I'm younger. Some have even said I look like 15 years old, and that's 6 years younger than my age. O.O
I'm always mistaken for either a 14 year old or a 20 year old. I'm 5'7" and I have a baby face, which probably causes confusion. Frankly, I like being mistaken for a 20 year old more.
Yeah, a lot, especially at my job. I'm 22 and people always say, "Wait, you're 22?! You look 17 or 18!"
Yep, as younger. At 30, when I still smoked, I got carded for cigarettes, and I still get carded for drinks if I go out. I guess I have a very boyish look, which I am happy with, because I never really wanted to be masculine in the traditional sense, but in a more playful one. So far, it's worked!
When I was 16 I needed to go buy some special spray paint for an art class. I went to Walmart and got a clerk to open the cage (you have to be over 18 to buy it here, and I didn't know that at the time :lol. He just rang me up like nothing. Either the nice suit and tie I was wearing at the time made him think I was at least 18, or he didn't think I was up to no good (people who dress up tend to not inhale spray paint or do graffiti, apparently :lol.
A lot of 19 year olds look like seniors in high school, why is that weird? Lol I dont even care what age some kids are. I usually think my coworkers who go to community college look like high schoolers. I mean they seem like my ageish in looks and attitude.
I suppose it isn't weird, but it can be a little annoying. Especially when I go to parties, it seems. No one seems to think my friends are younger Some people say they have trouble telling the ages of people by gender. But I haven't noticed any pattern in whether it's a girl or guy who gets my age wrong.
