Yeah, no one ever thinks I'm 21. One of my sister's friends thought I was 16. At my new job, everyone who asked my age was shocked when I told them my real age. One of them thought I was 18. Basically, people always assume I'm younger than my actual age. Been like that for as long as I can remember, haha.
Everyone seems to think that I'm a lot older than I really am. I remember one person thinking that I was in my mid-twenties
Thankfully, people still think I'm in my early forties...good genes I guess (or there's a portrait of me somewhere that is showing my true age in all its decrepitude...Read Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray)
@mintberry, wouldn't that make sense ? It's only been what , 2 yrs? Anyway , same , and there's no way I can use a fako for anything either so. Only thing in my favor is height I guess but it doesn't help much with age .
Today a co-worker looked at me amazed when I confessed I'm 31. People usually go for the 20-25 years old. When I was 20, they thought I was 13-15
I don't have a problem now, but I did in high school. Everyone consistently thought I was 2-4 years younger than I was. Many people assumed my 3.5 year younger sister was older than I was. Once we were going through security, I was 17, about to turn 18, my sister had just turned 14. The security personnel asked my sister for her drivers license, but not mine (at that time you needed an I.D. if you were over 18). My boyfriend constantly has people thinking he is older. He is 24, but many people guess that he is in his mid-30s.
I guess, but it doesn't seem to happen to any of my friends. I'm sick of going to parties and hearing people ask my friends "is he underage?" referring to me -_- It's happened enough times that it's not funny anymore I've only had someone guess I was 13 from looking at my pic online. I don't think anyone who saw me in person would ever guess that.
It depends. I am 16, and people usually seem to think that I am around 17 or younger. There are times when I can pass as much younger though. I am not sure if this is a good thing or not!
Always, usually they think I'm 16 or younger by my looks. My hair is graying rather fast, so I can only imagine how confused people will be in a year or two. My amusement will be high for sure.
I worked with a guy this summer, he was 28 I believe, and he thought I was in my 20s too! I had to tell him that I wasn't born when the shows he was referencing were on TV. At least he just laughed at his mistake, the last guy who got my age wrong was flirting with me icon_eek and said "it doesn't matter" when I told him.
People frequently assume I'm between the age of 18 and 20. However, when I was in that age range, most people assumed I was in my 30's (and possibly early 40's...). Weight loss can drastically change someone's appearance, I suppose.
Alllll the time! Everyone always thinks I'm 17 or 18. I don't mind too much, and the really long, confused stares I get before being carded are funny as heck.
Few years ago had a psychologist come and give a seminar in my work, I was 19 and for whatever reason, can't exactly remember, he had to guess my age and he gave me 29.. Few years later - still scary
