It was a 50 degree high a few days ago. Owned.

Although that is extremely out of place for this time of year. Usually 85-90 degree highs until mid-September. August here was extremely bizarre - 60 degrees and rainy many of the days.

I'm being serious guys, you are lucky to be alive at temperatures that high. Human body temperature shouldn't go above 37 degrees and air temperatures that high are sure to make it increase.

Yeah well, you crazy non-American people are out wearing shorts and tshirts when it's 20 degrees out, so it's not that strange.

    :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

(Although, as I say that sarcastically - I have actually worn tshirts and shorts in 20F weather. It was after 3 weeks where the high never got above 0F, so it actually felt warm. XD)

God I hate my hometown. At one of the local Mobil stations, an Army Reservist was told the gas station was out of Premium gasoline and he'd have to go somewhere else. This gets posted to Facebook as "The Arabs running the gas station on (road name) are terrorists and hate America because they REFUSED to serve a member of the military!"

Soon, armed protesters show up at the Mobil station and death threats are being sent. The local police eventually shooed them away, but some people are apparently still convinced that the original story was true. I'd post the article, but my hometown is small enough that it might identify me.

But yeah, way to make great publicity for my hometown. I can see the headline already: "Deranged, armed rednecks threaten to kill gas station owners because they ran out of gas."

I give up. You're all just superhumans. All of you. The Unites States of America is a country full of heat-resistant superhumans.

That awkward moment when my crush says "Well, you can suck my cock" as a joking throwback comment to me and I stand there thinking "Yeah, that is exactly what I'd like to do to you!"

I've got my first freelance writing job! I'm writing two articles for an e-zine, with a focus on relationships and sex. Typical standard Cosmo type fair, with a focus on straight relationships but I'm trying to sneak in a little representation.

    Mmmm...

I probably have a pound of sweat on me. That unit of measure was not a typo. Time to wash it off.

The joys of being male bodied and not out at work translates to pants and long sleeve shirt and tie for clothing... Ugh. What I'd give for a light dress or skirt.

Well I met all my students today, so shorts and a polo then tomorrow.

Low chance Goldenarrow will see this, but:

Yes, I'm out to my parents.

It's not so much as misgendering. I understand you're not going to start viewing who you that was your daughter as a son just like that. But they pass it off like it's nothing. It seems as if they're more sensitive to my mood now, because when I get dysphoria, they always ask me if I'm okay. And if I tell them the truth? "Don't think too much." If I don't say anything? "Don't think too much."

Not to mention, on the worksheet I got for Spanish, it asked something like "¿Eres perezoso?" and there is a very big chance my teacher will count me off if I use "perezoso" instead of "perezosa" - I was imagining it the whole time, something like:

Teacher: You need to change the end to an a if you're female.
    Me: I know.
Teacher: So why didn't you do it? You're a girl, aren't you?

One of my fears in Spanish. If I do it "correctly", I'll probably feel like a whiny pissbaby for the rest of the day. And if I do it "wrong", my grade will suffer.

    Where's that shrug emoticon?

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Had to review M/s and M(s^{-1}) in Chemistry only to find out they are equivalent. Come on people, that's totally not a difficult aspect of mathematics to understand.

Fucking sunlight. Can't see anything out there. -.-

Completely random addendum: am I the only one that thinks yoga pants don't look remotely attractive?

Debating whether or not I should just tell the person I came out to that she can tell whoever she wants. There's a good chance that I'll never see 90% of our mutual acquaintances again, and it would save me from doing it but.....

To the people who were discussing temperatures:

Try 90+ degrees Fahrenheit. I'm also wearing a winter's coat, and the worst thing that's happened was me sweating. Where are you guys living?

    To Sitri:

    No, we're all here!
