It's been snowing since this morning. School being closed, stuck at home.

 

I feel awful. I've been slacking off on studying for my genetics course. When I showed up to do group work, I barely contributed. Then one of my group members kept saying out loud, so that everyone in the room can hear, that I am not helping the team.

To be fair, I helped out significantly with last week's group work and we ended up scoring well. And in the past for other courses with recitation, e.g. general chemistry, organic chemistry, I was the anchor for the team in terms of doing most of the work. But that's because I studied the material thoroughly, whereas for genetics I did not...

Honestly, I'm losing motivation to study for anything really. With my family being not in a good place financially, I feel stressed and unable to focus at times. I just need to get it together and do what I can academically, despite the workload. Sometimes I question what I've gotten myself into by majoring in pharmacy...

 

Seriously need to calm down a tad... soooooooo angry and irritable today!

Im swerving quickly between wanting to kick someones head in and wanting to curl up and cry

And i have work tonight, where ill be working alone with customers shouting abuse at me, so cba!

 

Finally finished my prelim exam! got a few months free til my finals now yay, and I'm going to the cinema tonight for the first time in a few months

 

Fuck it, ill spend MY evening before work cleaning my flatmates rotting mess in the kitchen... loving life.

 

So that plan flopped. I was supposed to wake up three hours earlier, take a shower, and spend the rest of the time catching up on homework and studying on campus, but instead went right back to bed and am just now barely about to make it on time to class...

Urrrghhhh the internet connection is slow as a snail this evening! Damn its frustrating!

 

I need to learn to say 'no'. An acquaintance said vets are failed doctors. I'm reading About Time by Adam Frank and thinking about entropy. I wish I enjoyed beer. Chaos magic and all that.

 

A bus slid into a student's car and the Univ doesn't have the sense to cancel classes...WTF?!?!?

 

I fell in the muck earlier because the University doesn't bother to clear the sidewalks. Maybe I should sue the University for $100 million in damages. Hey, if that old lady who spilled coffee on herself could make $3 million off McDonald's because their coffee was too hot, then maybe I could get rich too.

 

I'm not complainig though. This is beautiful weather...just not fit weather for us down south to drive in.

Let's just blame our new Univ president since that works out so well >.>

Apparently I hit on a friend when I was steaming the other night who I'm in no way attracted to. I kinda don't believe it, but why do I keep doing this to myself and why don't I have the the self-control to behave. Mum wouldn't be proud.
