I love metal! Bands like Dark Tranquillity, Insomnium, Omnium Gatherum, Katatonia, Summoning, Windir, Agalloch, Wintersun.
I'm not a major metalhead myself, but it seems to run in my blood as my entire family from my fathers generation are all majorly into rock, which is my main reason for life and breathing in general Iron Maiden's always been a big part of my life; two minutes to midnight and run to the hills being big influences on my childhood. But also, of course, metalica and black sabath.
I listen to other stuff too but I love metal! I listen mostly to sub-genres like symphonic, folk and power metal, I got to see my favorite artist Tarja Turunen last year, it was the best concert ever, I also got to see Metallica live in 2010.
I know a few, no bisexual guys though. I'm seeing Arkona and Finntroll/Metsatöll this month, Amon Amarth/Enslaved/Skeletonwitch and Dark Tranquillity/Omnium Gatherum in February, and Týr in March! I love concerts. :icon_bigg
Yeah I am the only bisexual male metal head I know of in my area.I may go see Among Amarth but when Behemoth tours the States I am going to see them for sure. Planning on lusting over Orion the whole time. That guy is hot
im not sure i count but i like Within Temptation, Evanescence, Leaves Eyes... i don't like metal as a whole, not so much as Gothic itself.
O_O I am soooooo happy this is the first post I found. I am a huge metal head! I want to cry I am so happy. Favorite band is Between the Buried and Me. I love this community already XD
Nice! Týr is going to be touring with Children Of Bodom soon, Don't get me worng i like Children Of Bodom But i'd much rather see Týr if they were the main band, And i know the feeling of being the only Bi Metalhead in my area as well. :icon_sad:
Yeah, I wouldn't go just for Children of Bodom. I mean, I like a few songs, but I've seen them before, and they're not my favourite. I love Týr though, and they're so good live. (Also when I saw Týr last year, I was in front and Heri noticed me, gave me his pick, and then came up and hugged me after the show. I might have fangirled a little bit inside. ) And I'm sorry you guys don't know more bi metalheads. It's nice to have friends who are a part of both communities, but it's not the be-all and end-all.
