It's been a pretty good game so far.

 

Oh goodness...so, we went to thai to celebrate my sister's birthday, again with the extraordinarily cute sister's boyfriend's roommate (perhaps I should just abbreviate as 'sbr'? ). He's so adorable and fun, and nice, and intelligent, etc......

I better stay the hell away or I'm going to develop a really bad crush on him...

Speaking of hockey..hope the 'nucks don't go down 0-2...awesome how they scored while I was typing this, though, lol.

But I'm also so happy that Pittsburgh is down 0-2! Good job Philly (!).

This is the first Friday the 13th I've actually had back luck on...I don't like it :dry:

 

Almost 30 minutes till 5am....I can't sleep. At all. :icon_sad:

 

That some people are beginning to get pushy-shovey with their mere opinions here, and I am not liking it. Not on THIS thread, but on one or two others, yes.:tears:

 

Why is my gym so hot! Really dehydrated now - feel good tho

 

Just got back from a concert of probably New Zealands biggest rock bands, Shihad, and had one hell of a good time. Also, my Mum is the ultimate Rock Mother in the world because she lasted the whole concert at the very front

 

So after hurting my back last year I picked up some of my old bad eating habits. So I am trying to eat healthier.

Today is my cheat day. I'm going to a hockey game tonight. So I'm having hot dogs and a big 'ol Budweiser.

 

In 24 hours I will be on a plane to Aruba. My first real vacation with my husband.

 

Woke up about an hour ago to make breakfast/brunch/whatever, so I pour some instant grits into a bowl only to discover 2 or 3 ants crawling around in them...then I go on Tumblr and see post of a newspaper article saying that people suffering from loneliness are "contagious," that they'll spread their desolation onto other people.

Today is starting off just perfectly. >_>

 

I feel like Bane from Batman right now. And it's nice to know that even though I've packed on the pounds of late, and was sick all day yesterday, that I can still manhandle the tractor into and out of a pickup truck.

God I hate spring. :dry: I swear, one day I will have a fleet of gardeners to do all this shit for me. Either that or I'll be the delusional old man with super-tall grass and an army of cats. Either way, I shall not be doing this much longer.

 

I should be revising yet I'm watching TV. But it's so boring.

 

My love texted me at 6:30 this morning and said that our friend was in a car accident today, she's in the ICU apparently, and my love has been trying to see her since then but she got denied access. I have no clue how she's doing or what happened but I'm starting to get pretty worried because no one is telling us what's going on. Today was supposed to be such a happy, good day too. My love and I were supposed to go to my mentor's birthday party tonight.

 

The boss guy at passport control was a right jerk. Made a huge deal out of the fact that one of my documents for that country was still in my old passport and hadn't yet been transferred over. Started screaming and flailing his arms around and gave me this huge speech about 'honouring your country and your family' (which, in all honesty, has nothing whatsoever to do with the subject), before eventually letting me through.

Honestly, as soon as I got on that flight I was out of the country anyway so I don't know why he was making a big deal out of a document that I wouldn't even need once I left. Wanker.

On the plus side, after I got through some people came up to me and were like "Are you okay? You handled that really well." They also said that after all that they were glad to see me on the other side! haha. Bless them.

 

I want to start playing Sims 3 again, but given that it's likely that I will spend five hours updating everything only for the game to crash within half an hour of starting, I think I'll wait a few more months.
