I remember back when I used to listen to CD Players, now I listen to music on my phone...My first one was Alice Cooper Goes to Hell back in 2002, that's when my love for Death metal first started...Yes , I know Alice Cooper isn't Death metal, or even metal, but that's when the first seed was planted...The first Death metal album I got was Deicide back in 2005...
My Chemical Romance - Black Parade My Chemical Romance were the first band I really listened to and I can remember asking my mum to get this for me off of Ebay and then being irritated that I hadn't told her it had Explicit content
Well, my first record album was Barbara Striesand. When records went out and CD's came in, I had to start recollecting my music again. Although I don't remember my first CD, more than likely it was Donna Summer. Cause I collect her music the most, so she's the one I would start with. Now, everything has been converted to MP3....on my phone, on my pc, and on my MP3 player.
For whatever reason my mom used to give me country CDs so it was probably something like Alan Jackson or something. One day my uncle showed me Pink Floyd, Another Brick in the Wall Pt. II, and later I noticed The Wall in my dad's cd collection, so I borrowed the disc and listened to it non stop for I'm not sure how long. It was the soundtrack version, too. I'd heard Static X's "Push It," noticed Machine among the other albums, and loved that album. That's the one that really got me into metal.
It might be Britney, or Shakira, or I don't know what was popular back then. Or actually... I think it might've been Toy-Box: Mind you - we're speaking '97 or '98 here Her jeans are terrible on every level.
I basically stole the Shania Twain CDs my aunt gave my mom  The first I actually bought was Green Day's American Idiot. My brother and I loved that CD so much :')
Bryan Ferry, Boys and Girls ! Not really my music but when I bought the CD player as a separate to go with my midi stack system the guy in the shop reminded me that as this is my first CD player I would need something to play on it ! Correct, so my first disc cost me a small fortune !
Clubbers Guide to Ibiza 1998, I was 6. Probably explains why I was a bit of a mental child! XD I still have most of them!
I took my parent's CDs of Sgt. Pepper, Revolver, Abbey Road, and the White Album (all Beatles albums). The first one that was ever actually mine though, was Rubber Soul (The Beatles), a present from my dad.
The first CD that was solely mine (I listened to my parent's CDs and the radio before) was Taylor Swift's Fearless in the 4th grade. However, I got an iPod a year later and didn't really buy many CDs after that.
Nirvana - Nevermind, most likely. But if we count CDs I've stolen, well, there's a few that precede that. However, I'll stick with the one I legally obtained.
