I somewhat hope all of the people in groups that thought Trump would be their savior (e.g. low-skilled whites, Hispanics, LGBT people, etc.) get a taste of his treatment. I hope he is a one-term president (because if we impeach him we get Pence :bang. I also hope 2018 is a bloodbath for the GOP and that we get a Tea Party-style group that rises on the left to counter him.

 

That's because the mainstream media aren't paying attention to what the voters actually want. Their main audience is a dying demographic. Most people who vote are tired of the same old BS that people like Bush, Clinton or any other standard-ass politicians spew. So someone like Trump comes along who appears to pander to the common man, and people lap it right up.

So now we're stuck with Trump.

I think he'll be only one term. At some point Trump's pack of idiots will (hopefully) realize he'll screw them over as much as he'll screw everyone else over.

I would say there's no way they could elect him for a second, but honestly, Trump's supporters are so stupid I wouldn't put it past them.

 

No matter how many times people gave reasonable explanations of her behaviour, the utter lack of evidence of vote rigging and corruption, and only now you're surprised that Clinton actually played democracy by the rules and was punished nonetheless?

Yes, I am surprised. She beat Bernie because the DNC was stacked in her favor. But I guess she just couldn't play that game on a bigger playing field.

Like the future seems bleak and dark.
How many more hate crimes will there be now? How many more deaths at the hands of those who hate us? How many more suicides as we find ourselves governed by a government who has only talk about how we are less than?
And on a more selfish note: how much harder will it be for me to transition? To be me and be happy? To contuine living in the South for a few months longer with out feeling afraid, because what if they found out i am Trans? How will I manage to sit through an American history Lecture where a professor with a PhD talks about Trump and God as if they are the same person? And who's every other sentence is to put down Clinton and stop just short of calling her a bitch (but will call her a witch)? How much longer till I grow tired of the bullshit and blow my own cover by letting lose a volley of words , sharpen to a point that has not been seen since my high school days?

I think of the next four years and feel as though I should go a head and start to grieve, for a free and fair America is dead.

Trump has officially won the presidency. He needed at least 270, and he is at 276 right now. I am honestly not surprised he won. I called it months ago. I had a feeling he was going to win.

 

Fucking Pence is already up on stage, apparently pandering to the crowd, probably getting them fired up for Trump's damn victory speech. I don't know; I muted it. I can't stand to hear what he has to say.

EDIT: And now Drumpf is up there himself; probably bragging his arse off to his despicable den of deplorables. Still have it muted. I don't want to hear a word of this. I'll have to hear his smug voice for the next four years, but I'm not starting tonight.

I'm not reminded of the so-called "Anti-Christ"; I'm seeing the rise of baby Hitler. If Trump's supporters think he'll do anything he promises to do to supposedly "make America great again", then they deserve the misery he'll put them through, because he's going to drag the rest of us with him on this impending trainwreck of a presidency. All because they couldn't put their hatred of anybody who wasn't a white evangelical Christian aside to not elect a fascist as our next president.
