Same. Felt horrible because I was all "Well, damn, why didn't I listen to him when he was alive? I could've seen him in concert!!" -- Worked out (like genuinely hopped on an elliptical) for the first time in ages. I'm motivated by the fact that I'm having a harder and harder time buying men's jeans and I'm about as wide as my nightstand. Downloaded a calorie tracking app. It's go time.
Oddly the music is clicking with me much more than it had when I previously tried getting into him. What're you guys getting into? Hope getting back into working out goes well for you. Reminds me that I've been wanting to myself for ages too...
I seriously cringed while looking back at my previous posts when I was 13. Geez. I have changed over these 2 years.
Well, I'm upset about a sermon I had to sit through today. Fire and brimstone, with an unhealthy dose of antigay rhetoric. I'm getting rather impatient to move out of my parents' house and find a more progressive church.
Just all of his stuff basically. His newest album, some of his stuff from the 70s. I mean, man was incredibly talented. But that's an understatement. And thanks. Should go well. I'm actually considering going for a membership at Planet Fitness. But starting at home.
Yeah, I've been leaning toward some of the earlier stuff, though I've heard a couple tracks from Blackstar and listened to an early nineties album, Black Tie White Noise earlier this evening. And agreed, that is an understatement. What're some of your favorite tracks so far? Makes sense, jumping right into a membership could be overwhelming.
