    Why won't my Mom be reasonable, she's claiming that alternative education methods is for people with mental disorders. But I'm trying to explain to her how I'm not comparable with the public school system.

    It surprises me to see quite a few people who would be willing to drop their surnames (excluding extraordinary circumstances that would warrant familial estrangement). Name and identity are almost inextricably linked for me. I couldn't imagine dropping my name even for a more acoustically-pleasing name.

    Probably not physical drafts, but I hardly think normality should come into it if it makes you more comfortable. It also will help you clarify your reasoning so you don't just awkwardly say "just 'cos" when on the spot. :lol:

    Most people think it through and form a mental draft, I'd be willing to say. Writing it down isn't much different and might help solidify your resolve and aid your thoughts.

    So.. I slept for 14 hours and now my sleep schedule is messed up. I slept when I was supposed to meet a friend, so she was standing there waiting for me and I didn't show up. Now, I feel awful. And still tired. Fun.
