I feel for you guys. (*hug*) Last winter (3 months ago) it actually snowed here in South Africa. I know we almost froze. But now it is summer so hooray
What a night and day! Waking up at 3:00am and not being able to fall back to sleep because my neighbour decided to have her TV on who knows what volume on, isn't what I had expected to happen.
Well things are certainly looking up... I have a job, more friends than ever, and that magical feeling of Christmas in the air again. But I still feel unhappy... Oh bother.
Why the hell do they call it PMS?!?! There's nothing PRE-menstrual about it! I feel the pain when I'm ALREADY BLEEDING. It should be called During-Menstruation Syndrome. At least that makes bloody sense!
Pun intended? After texting my friend who's going clubbing tonight, I realized that he gets hit on guys significantly more than I do and he's the straight one... so I told him to get all those numbers of all those guys for me while I'm at work :icon_wink
Ugh, just hung out with a friend in his car. And I left my earphones in there... I think. I better not have lost them somewhere on the street. I don't have money for new ones, and I hate being unable to listen to music. I texted him but he said he'd look for them tomorrow as he was already in bed... I'm worried they're not in there lol. Something else: I have a date with a girl coming friday, but I'm seeing my ex / best friend the day after, and we're going to be drinking. And I still have feelings for him, sort of. That is going to be one hell of a confusing weekend. AND, I have my driving test coming tuesday. PLEASE, let me pass. There's so much depending on it. I wonder what I'll know in a week's time that I don't know right now.
Going to bed. Please let me wake up feeling better so I can make it through the work day with a great big, happy smile! And I adore Seven. He better know it. I'm looking forward to creating a wonderful friendship with him.
Thanksgiving break has been great so far! My sister deep-fried a chicken, which ended up tasting 50x better than the turkey we bought from Boston Market. It was moist and flavorful, whereas the turkey was dry and bland. Mashed potatoes, stuffing, and other sides were pretty yummy as well School starts on Monday... and the homestretch to Christmas break will begin. It's nothing but hardcore studying for final exams >__< Here we go again for the 2nd year
I just made the best hot cocoa ever. The mood-enhancing properties of a (seasonal, since I broke out my Santa mug for the start of the holiday season) mug filled to the rim with steaming liquid gold are not to be underestimated.
