I'm currently in a lecture. I woke up 10 minutes into it, swore, leapt into my clothes and bolted to the lecture, getting in 15 minutes late. I must have completely slept through my alarm.

    YES. YES YOU DO.

My sister needs to write an assignment on "recent trends or issues in canadian society". Why she's asking me for advice I have no clue. So, any suggestions?

My self-confidence has gotten lower. I'm disappointed with myself. I can do nothing right. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. No one is ever going to love me, because it's me. It's me. I'm an ugly person inside and out. I make myself sick.

What's the difference between chivalry and anti feminism?

My friends son dress up as that for a costume party not to long ago, it was so kool and cute.

I couldn't help but smirk at a girl today as I walked past her because moments earlier she had to dodge a flying newspaper coming right at her, still smirk about it whilst thinking about it now. Curse those newspapers, trying to take us out 1 at a time till they rule the world!

I might get an iPad for my birthday. It's not for sure, but still...I'm so excited. I swear, I will call it my baby.

If I don't get an iPad then I'll probably get an iPhone 4. Either way, win. :icon_bigg

Umm...intent? Chivalry strikes me as being more akin to courteousness, while anti-feminism sounds a whole lot more negative and demeaning?

My internet went down for like twenty minutes. I thought I was gonna die without it. Yes, I know I need a life.

Also, my mom's boyfriend mentioned all of the gay suicides lately and said it was sad and crazy. This amazes me. He's a bit on the homophobic side, so you can see why I was surprised. Not really sure what it all meant, but whatever.

Yeah. I see what you mean. This summer I was on a construction team at work. There were two girls and one guy. And when he would do "gentlemanly" things like open doors and carry heavy (working construction=lots of heavy stuff) stuff. At first I thought he was just very polite. But then it started to feel like he was opening doors, and carrying everything (i am perfectly able to carry a 5 gallon bucket of paint) because I was a woman and I was "weak"...

Idk...just something that's been on my mind.

That's just silly, Courtney. People don't have agendas like that. At least most people don't. They do it because it's polite.

I'm think of how I can't wait for Bob Woodward's latest book, Obama's Wars, arrives on my front door from Amazon.
