Wich is still pretty much the reason she died the way she did... Marilyn was a great icone, I'm not sure it made Norma Jean very happy.

Ehh there was probably more to it than that. I'm sure she had deeper insecurities no one knew about that led her to die how she did. But I mean, the woman came from nothing and went on to become a well known icon. If she had just married and gone on to be a housewife and took that as the most she would ever achieve, she never would have become a household name and still a topic for conversation many years after she died. I don't know, I still think it's an inspirational quote.

 

I didn't say her carrer wasn't a great achievement, or that she have been wrong living her life the way she did. I just tend to be cautious with that kind of quote taken out of their context and presented like a way of life. I tend to think that life is something too complicated to be sum up in a sentence, and that every human being have their dark side too

 

I bought chocolate and orange faloured shower gel and body lotion today. I just used them and they are smelling sooooo delicious, I could eat myself now
