I saw some threads but didn’t see anything recent. Are they still anti-LGBTQ? From google I saw that the company itself doesn’t donate to anti-gay causes but the CEO does. On the other hand, are there any restaurants that are good with LGBTQ issues?
It's a Christian-owned and based company, it's why they aren't open on Sundays so do with that information what you will. Wikipedia has a solid write-up of the situation. It's hard to say about alternate restaurants because you never know where your money is going (especially since the executives that own the brands and the actual people who own and run the franchises might have entirely different values). But, really, Chik-fil-a is the only restaurant I know of that once hosted a counter-boycott that resulted in thousands of people showing up at their restaurants specifically to protest gay marriage so...basically anyone is better than that.
