So, celebration, post A level drinks last night with a couple of my closest school friends and I came out. Wasn't drunk as such, but I guess I had a dose of dutch courage. They were wonderful about it. So happy. Weirdly the person who I thought would be most, not freaked out exactly, but...uncomfortable, was actually great about it. She admitted that since going to university (year older than me) she's become far more open minded.
Congratulations on coming out to your friends! Wonderful that they were supportive, and glad that the friend who you thought could be uncomfortable has become more open minded.
That's awesome! Congratulations! I actually found coming out to my friends the most rewarding/satisfying experience. Why? They honestly didn't give a damn, and we always joke about it. It's great that I can be so open about it, and I hope you can do that in the future... Well done! ride:
