In all honesty I don't know what my face will be doing as I talk lol I'll try to end with a smile but I am no doubt going to approach them with confidence in who I am and I won't acted ashamed. Truth be told I've been ready for a long time but life got in the way. Theres just a lot going through my mind. I mean once I do it theres no going back and everything changes. I mean I've know that I was gay for a very long time but after this I have to BE gay. Am I making sense lol

I'm glad I'm not alone on the whole uni perspective. How about you? What's your story if you dont mind me asking.

Well I think I'm in a very similar situation to yourself. I'm now really comfortable with my sexuality and I have been since I was about 17 - I just can't bring myself to tell my parents. I've told a few people (not close friends) and I've regretted it each time, so I really want to come out to my best friends properly rather than blurting it out drunk!

I totally get what you mean about needing to be gay, because we spend so much time holding ourselves back and living a lie and we just get to a point in which we need to be who we are and open with people we care about. I'm sick of being asked about girlfriends, I'm sick of not being able to talk about guys with my friends and I'm really sick of having this burden on my mind.

CALM!!! BREATH!!!! I'll get you a glass of water!

Look, why are you freaking out? Were you freaking out the last time you tried to tell them? I know this feels like there's no going back, but just think, soon you'll be out of there and in a completely different place with new people!

Oh and if your mum pulls that rediculous "no, not this" thing where she puts her head in her hands or starts to cry, just think: "NO, NOT THIS TIME. THIS TIME YOUR GONNA HEAR WHAT I HAVE TO SAY."

    No mercy!

"Yo stop interrupting me with your crying!" *Rolls eyes* "Geez can't a guy come out around here."

Lol no I think she'll be ok. Probs tears after I've went out but eh. Still dunno bout dad. But I don't really care. Mind you he could be a surprise supporter lol Mum just gets over emotional. I won't let it get me down if she cries. I know she'll get over it. Then to tell the rest of my world! Which will be much easier thankfully.

I'm a bit worried. You haven't updated us on what happened (if anything happened at all).

If you told them anything, I hope it went well, and that you update us regardless. I'm still sending positive thoughts your way. (*hug*)

Ugh. He hasn't even logged in since the day he came out.

My guess is that things went REALLY badly. :tears:

Wherever you are GORKS, I hope you're alright. I'm still sending you positive thoughts. Please, please, please be safe. (*hug*)

I'm guessing he has maybe been grounded from the internet, I just really don't understand some parents. Let's think positively, maybe he's so happy he doesn't want to get on the computer, he's out partying because it went so well!
