That's one of the reasons why I haven't came out to my friends. Most of them will instantly associate My Little Pony with homosexuality. I love this show too much for them to be judging it due to such a mundane and ill-thought out reason.
I love your signature. When I first realized I was a guy who really liked ponies, I was kinda like "Omg I am gay AND I like ponies!". Maybe I need to practice this more myself but really, I'd rather be known for liking ponies and being gay then straight and into drugs, knocking up women all the time....like my brother. The fact that society lumps being a brony or being gay into the same category as the worst the world has to offer is just sad.
I may or may not enjoy thing show...and may or may not be part Pinkie Pie and part fluttershy depending on my mood each day =P
It helped me in so many damn ways I didn't have a social life before the show but after it things got awesome.
Oh yeah! :icon_wink I'm actually quite new to the show itself. I just finished the first season on Netflix last week. I watch it before I go to bed and it helps me relax. Is it bad that a kiddy show helps me forget the stress in my life? ^^;
Not at all! Alot of people use FIM as a stress reliever, and the way I see it, if it helps you live a happier life then more power to you.
It's helped me deal with a lot of stress...and come out to some supportive people. Who doesn't like the show?!
It's nice to see Scootaloo up there defending Rainbow Dash like a good fangirl should so, here you go... BAM!!! <<<<<<This thread just got 20% Cooler!
Yeah, a couple of the people I came out to were Bronies. They give me a hard time because they say I further the gay Brony stereotype, but they do so in jest. Both are awesome guys and they've been real awesome about virtually everything I do. How can the show not help someone come out?
