I just finished the Eisenhorn Trilogy, by Dan Abnett

It's pulpy sci-fi, but of the good kind! In the grim darkness of the 41st milennium, there is only war, religious fanaticism and genocide, and humans are basically an empire that makes the nazis look good. And yet they're still the good guys, because the other species are much, much worse! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Annie On My Mind, by Nancy Garden. It was quite adorable.
And at the moment, I'm reading Middlesex by Jeffrey Euginedes. It's a sort of life story of a hermaphrodite. It's really good so far.

I've developed a healthy obsession for the Mann Family, but after trying to read Thomas Mann, i decided i liked the son best.
I just got a new batch by Klaus Mann

    Kind dieser Zeit
    Der Vulkan
Mephisto ( i hated the movie, hope i like the book better)

  19. Son of a Witch by Gregory Maguire (it's the sequel to Wicked). I can't wait to read the next one, but I haven't been able to find it anywhere.

I'm also in the middle of My Life in France by Julia Child and A Lesson before Dying by Ernest J. Gaines. The first because I just saw Julie and Julia, the second because it's my summer reading.
