:icon_wink I love a lot kind of music! Since Rap to Jazz, Rock to Classical and etc. Anyway, I'm eclectic. (But my top of top is Rap and Rock <3 ):icon_wink
I think I don't have a favourite but I guess it just comes down to what I currently listen to. I mostly listen to alternative rock, indie, electronica, experimental, world music, trip hop, folk, blues, etc.
I like that old time rock and roll, the kinda music just soothes the soul. Well, rock in general I prefer.
Well, it hasn't changed since I was 15. Death Metal. I find beauty in this often highly technical and complex music. The lyrics aren't always about blood and guts. Death Metal lyrics can about be almost anything from cosmology to recycling.
Indie rock and all it's varieties. Besides that I can appreciate some good post-hardcore or electronic music.
You, sir, have made my day. As for an actual answer, at the moment, Visual-Kei, however, I listen to everything. I'll be listening to Chiptune one minute, and blackened, non-melodic death metal the next :icon_bigg ---------- Post added 19th Mar 2015 at 07:33 PM ---------- also, a DEATH METAL song... about RECYCLING? I MUST hear this...
It's Toxic Garbage Island by Gojira. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SZzdtSly4E I acknowledge there are other influences and I don't want this to descend into a genre war. Anyway, it's an Extreme Metal song promoting recycling!
Slow trap, cause it traps you. Trip-hop; because theres nothing like it, and it has no boundaries of sound Reggae ; cause nothing is more calming Anything with latin flavour Whatever the hell this; dream trip hop, Anything with a 50's bop Dream Electro, Downtempo ; most likely my favourite I like rock too, but don't like too many rock songs with singing in it I can comfortably say I like everything, but I like newer forms of music the most.
Indie folk, chamber pop, and basically any non-classical music that includes the clever use of a violin (not that I don't like classical too, but, well, nothing really beats Andrew Bird with his snazzy pizzicatos).
French house, big beat, indie rock, nu-disco, alt rock, classical, and a few others. Pretty much house in general, really. I like artists from a wide variety of genres.
